I am an independent consultant working in the UK providing interim business, telecoms and IT services to UK and Global companies.
I have long track record of successfully managing and delivering IT and Telecoms products and services. I work with integrity to motivate and manage my teams, to plan and then deliver hi-tech products and services, increasing revenue and customer satisfaction. I am a good communicator and negotiator doing whatever is necessary to achieve a positive outcome to deliver on my product roadmaps. I have successfully defined, developed and launched many new fixed and mobile services (including at MCI WorldCom, Orange, O2, Vodafone, Motorola & Hutchison). I have a very strong technical background (and have an Electronics and Physics degree) in addition to extensive strategic planning and business development skills. This has given me the insight to successfully plan and then deliver services in challenging environments including fixing Vodafone’s broken TV and VOD service and fixing customer and supplier relationships at Hutchison to enable the successful delivery of a major network migration. I always engage closely with customers and stakeholders alike, helping prevent conflict and to ensure a smooth delivery.

My assignments include:
Hutchison:- Took over a stuck project, fixed customer and supplier relationships and successfully migrated three m2m, MVNOs from Three UK onto Hue’s Global MVNE platform
Vodafone Group:- Managed the feature enhancement and expansion of Vodafone's Global IP-VPN network into new countries to achieve strategic and business goals.
Vodafone Enterprise / SAS Managed IT Service:- Developed the business case for SAS's 48 hour Rapid Deployment System to be introduced into Vodafone UK's IP-VPN delivery service.
Vodafone UK:- Planned and managed the rationalisation of 36 major OSS infrastructure platforms and migration of 12 to a new Teradata BI platform.
Vodafone Group:- Global responsibility for Vodafone’s conferencing services, fixed a stuck "App development" project and launched this and the conferencing service to global enterprise customers.
Oxfordshire County Council:- Advised the management team and developed the business case for a competitive bid for government funding for Electric Vehicle charging.
Vodafone Group:- Management and improvement of their Global TV and Video platforms in 21 Vodafone European and partner networks.
Vodafone UK: Product Owner of TV and Video - fixed a failing service (increased revenue from £200K/month to £1M/month) and then handed over to permanent staff.
Motorola:- Developed a new TETRA hand-portable public-safety radio.
O2:- Managed the development of a new O2 branded Mobile Phone, produced the device technology roadmap and developed a new commercial music service.
Vodafone UK:- Responsible for managing and improving their Consumer Mobile Internet service, launching of the HSDPA service and development of apps their pricing strategy.
Orange:- Developed and launched a new innovative Business Mobile Data service in record time.
Nokia System Integration Centre:- Managed a mobile content-delivery system defined sales collateral and trained sales teams.
MCI WorldCom:- Managed their European Wholesale Data Services including the introduction of new products and training of European sales teams.
Securicor Communications:- Senior Management Team Managing 9 Telecommunication Companies
Ericsson Ltd:- Marketing Fixed and Mobile Network Infrastructure - Sold two turnkey GSM networks and a Satellite Paging system to BT Mobile.
