We work predominantly with solicitor firms and in-house debt recovery legal teams, and pride ourselves on offering 'that little bit more'.
Working in an un-regulated industry is challenging. While some people see us as nothing more than a glorified postman, getting process serving right is more complicated than just knocking a door and handing something over. It takes an understanding of the laws surrounding the process, combined with a tenacious attitude, which is what keeps us attempting service on someone who is clearly evading. We spend time looking at each instruction before we make any attendances, obtaining information about the area, possible contact phone numbers, local knowledge etc. And, we conduct this same in-depth work for every instruction we receive, regardless of whether you are instructing us once or 100 times a month.
It is easy for everyone to shout about what a great service they offer, and how they are the best in the industry, but we genuinely believe there is no-one who can offer a more cost-effective service than us. We consistently place 1st in 'head to head' trials with other firms, and we won't become complacent over time.
I am a Qualified Paralegal with the Institute of Paralegals and have been since 2010. There are no industry specific qualifications for process serving, but the experience I have gained within the last 10 years mean that we are conversant with the rules in all aspects of law.
The bulk of our instructions are in Insolvency and Debt Recovery - Statutory Demands, Bankruptcy and Winding Up Petitions. However, we also serve paperwork across the entire legal spectrum on a daily basis, including Gagging Orders, Freezing Injunctions, Break Notices, Family and Childrens Act, & Admiralty Process to name a few.
Our other director, Stewart Ashby, is a member of the Association of British Investigators, our industry's self regulating body.
