Selena heads the immigration department at Axiom Stone, having joined in March 2018, and brings over 13 years expertise across a wide spectrum of corporate and private immigration, including representation at appeals and judicial review. Selena assists clients in all areas of corporate immigration, acting for both employers and employees (and their dependants). Areas include the full lifecycle of sponsor licences under Tiers 2 and 5 for businesses to recruit skilled workers, from initial application through to advice on training and audits in preparation for Home Office inspections. Selena is focused on offering a holistic service, providing tactical advice on compliance issues, the importance of the resident labour market test, right to work checks and implementing solutions for the international mobility of their employees.
She advises on international transfers and hires under the points based system, applications for high-net-worth individuals under the Tier 1 investor category and those seeking to establish themselves in the UK under the Tier 1 entrepreneur category.
Selena further assists family members seeking to secure entry to the UK under the family categories, including leave to remain and indefinite leave to remain applications, extending to preparation and representation at First-Tier Tribunals.
Selena has strong advocacy skills and has a proven record of achieving excellent results for her clients. She has substantial experience of judicial review applications including refusal under Tier 1 (genuineness test) and Tier 5, revocation of licences, removal directions, certification, deportation, delay, refusal of fresh claim under article 8.
Selena is accredited to level 2 of the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority’s Asylum and Immigration Accreditation Scheme and as a Supervisor, and is highly committed to client care.
