Summary
I am a Solicitor in the Regulatory team at Eversheds. I specialise in advising and defending both organisations and individuals in relation to investigations and prosecutions being led by the Health and Safety Executive; Police; Local Authorities and Office of Rail Regulation. I also have experience in advising and representing clients in relation to environmental and trading standards matters.
Recent experience includes: spending the last year working as part of the senior team acting as Solicitors to the Inquiry on the Mid Staffordshire Public Inquiry; acting for a subsidiary company of an International manufacturer in a corporate homicide investigation being led by Police in Scotland; representing a housing association group at an inquest into the death of a resident at one of their independent living housing blocks; and advising a client in the energy sector in relation to an ORR investigation following an electrical burns incident.
I hold a Masters in Health and Safety and Environmental Law, and have written articles on various regulatory subjects for publication in a wide range of industry magazines.
I conduct my own advocacy, speak at seminars and events and am also involved in developing and presenting training sessions for clients.
