Their one-day course on sales conversations for reluctant salespeople is still one of the most useful days of training I've ever received. Hi Gary, my meeting yesterday went very well, albeit the project director may need to go on the course as he ‘highjacked’ part of the meeting – LOL.
There was a moment of silence which, as you said – wait, listen – and there was another avenue of work which came from the meeting. I have a follow up meeting with the client and his VP of Office Operations in 3 weeks. It worked an absolute treat – almost staged as it happened pretty much the way you said it would.
It was great to learn how to get more out of conversations with not only clients – but people in general. The course was most definitely relevant and was very much enjoyable.
