A qualified and experienced therapist offering a range of therapeutic approaches and styles.
Also offering difference and diversity training.I initially qualified as a therapist in 1998 and as a clinical supervisor in 2001. I have subsequently undertaken training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Sexual Minority Therapy and Psychosexual Therapy.
I am also a qualified teacher working in a local Further Education College teaching various levels of counsellor training from introductory courses through to specialist post-qualifying courses.
In addition I offer training on subjects such as raising awareness of sexuality and transgender difference in the workplace.
I have many years experience of working with people from all sections of society and with wide-ranging issues. I also work with many people through my specialist area of sex, gender and sexuality.
I have also managed two voluntary sector counselling services, one for the UK's largest LGBT support agency and one based in the Wythenshawe area of Manchester.
I receive referrals from individuals, insurance companies and specialist support agencies.
My fees are negotiable ranging from £40 - £80 per session.
