I am looking to engage with SME's to ensure they are making educated decisions about their own expenditure and helping them protect themselves against future costs increases in a variety of areas.
One of the areas of success recently has been in winning claims for businesses, across a number of industry sectors, where they have previously been mis-sold energy contracts through undisclosed commission payment within the energy sector. Some of the claims that have been won have resulted in customers being paid out thousands from hidden charges which were in the contract. The claims have given businesses that were struggling a nice shot in the arm to as they all try to recover from the recent challenging times. There are 21 ways that a contract could have been mis-sold through a broker, and this is because the industry is unregulated.
I am also in the process of advising businesses about getting ready for the electric vehicle revolution that is imminent and how getting a charger installed can benefit them.
Water supply is another are where I can help get customer s claim back money from incorrect billing through a desktop water audit. There are a number of ways that a business could have been over charged by their water supplier in the past and the deregulation of water in April 2017 has only highlighted this further. Claims for incorrect charges can go back up to 6 years, and again can go in to thousands being refunded.
