The first of a regular lunch meeting at the Business Growth Hub takes place this Friday 30th March, 12:00 at Nat West on Hardman Street in Spinningfields, Manchester. The focus of this event should be business growth through working together collaboratively. The time seems to be right now for businesses and consultants to work in a mutually beneficial way, creating growth and opportunity on both sides. This applies to all business services, financial and legal included. The perception with many SME business people is that they can't afford the services many consultants offer because the charges are too "open-ended" based around a day rate / retainer model. A fixed fee package with a set time frame, KPIs and a hands-on approach makes the working relationship between business owners and consultants a genuine collaboration, a mutually beneficial arrangement where the business gets the best chance possible to grow without excessively high fees being a constant negative impact on the finances. I'm looking forward to the Business Growth Hub lunches, which are planned for the last Friday each month, and more collaboration all round.
