If you haven’t ticked the right box the “Taxman” is clamping down on salary sacrifice schemes and traders and private tutors using e-commerce websites to run small businesses. Computer programmes known as “webrobot” software, enables HMRC to trawl the internet for traders who may not have paid tax. However, should anyone have a problem, HMRC have also changed their approach to resolving disputes, and are seeking to deal with them as efficiently, and at the least cost.
