What a pleasure it was to be invited to the Preston Vocational Centre (PVC) Awards yesterday evening as one of their non-Exec board members.
The PVC is committed to deliver support of the highest quality to the young people and adults of Preston & District. They offer a range of training, learning and development opportunities to young people and adults in order that they can progress to apprenticeships, employment or further education and take a positive step to achieving their personal economic and social potential in Lancashire. The PVC has already achieved great success, demonstrated by the great range of skills displayed by last night's winners.
I wish all of the students, staff and fellow board members every success for the future ... a future which I'm certain is very bright. If any fellow Manchester Professionals are able to support the PVC in any way I'll be delighted to put them in touch with the relevant people.
