Try These iOS 16 Features

If this is your first experience with iOS 16, there are three things you should do first to improve your iPhone experience. One of this of course is https://apps.apple.com/us/app/call-recorder-for-iphone/id1503665233.  Before digging into all the hidden features and messy settings. In this story, we'll show you what these things are and how they can improve your life.

  1. Introduced Focus, Do Not Disturb feature that can be set to get only important notifications and alerts and block everything else. However, productivity features have improved in iOS 16 and are worth trying and setting up if you want to reduce distractions on your iPhone.

In Settings, open Focus and select the profile you want to configure. Then, with your focus profile, you can receive notifications from specific people and apps, show muted notifications on your lock screen, hide notification icons, and receive notifications on your lock screen when your focus profile is on. You can change the wallpaper automatically.

You can also set when the focus profile turns on (when you fall asleep) and off (when you wake up). Use the Health app to get your sleep data and choose a schedule that's right for your Focus.

Finally, you can use focus filters to customize how apps and system settings interact with the user. For example, you can add an application filter to Safari to show only certain tabs, or add a filter to Mail to forward only some email messages. In system settings, you can activate a filter that automatically turns on Dark Mode and Low Power Mode when a focus profile is activated.

Once your focus profiles are ready, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to go to Control Center, tap Focus Controls, and enable each profile you created.

  1. Set iPhoto to remove and merge duplicate photos and videos to free up space for your photos and videos. It's a great option not only for spring cleaning but also for getting rid of files that are taking up storage space on your iPhone.

In the Photos app, open the Albums tab, swipe down, and tap Copy. Now you can go through all your photos and videos and click Merge for each group of duplicates or tap Select > Select All > Merge to remove all duplicates at once. You can see the size of the file at the bottom of each image or video,  so prioritize larger files first.
