We often hit difficulties with logos when we use them as profile images for uploading to all the different social media platforms. So here are some tips based on our experience of spending hours to get one logo that works easily on multiple platforms.
No prizes for recognising the Facebook logo and we should follow the example set by brand leaders like Macdonalds and Coca-Cola who spend millions on their brand image. Letters are great in logos and they are easily recognisable, which is why Google, Facebook and Twitter only use one the letter as their logo. A logo should never include text because it is too small to read and detracts from the brand image.
Most social media platforms allow us to upload a square profile image, Google decided on a circle and the rest are nearly square, so where do we start to create the ideal logo?
