Your competitors are talking to your customers…

The average person is exposed to over 3000 marketing messages per day. So where is your message amongst that little lot? It's all too easy to let communications with clients and prospects slide. It could be you are busy on other projects or it could be your sales staff only really talk to them when they place an order. Whatever the reason, the reality of the situation is that when you are not talking to them you can bet that your competitors are. As a design Agency we are well aware that our clients are constantly approached by other agencies offering similar services. We all like to think that our clients are loyal and will remain so, but with more industries being put under pressure to cut costs its only a matter of time before they start to take some of these approaches more seriously. So is there a quick and easy way to keep the lines of communication open? And what's it going to cost. Well the easiest way is to pick up the phone and talk to them, it's low cost and goes a long way to reaffirm your commitment to their business. Dependent on the size of your customer base though it's not always practical. Newsletters informing your customers of new products and improved services, as well as showing the culture of your organisation are a great idea, but again can be time consuming and by the time you've added in the cost of postage can be quite expensive. So what's left? Over the last couple of years we are finding more and more of our customers are looking to e-shots. We are not talking about SPAM, but well designed interactive marketing messages sent to an existing base of customers or prospects that know who you are but don't hear that much from you. Contrary to perceptions an E-shot can typically be produced and transmitted for less than the cost of the postage of a traditional campaign (based on 1500 recipients). Unlike traditional campaigns you also get to know who has opened the mailing and which of them have then reacted by clicking through to your website. Once a design template is agreed, e-shots can be built and transmitted within the same day, giving you the opportunity to get your message to your customers quickly and cost effectively. Want to know more? Give me a call today on 01204 416 131 or email me [email protected] and I'll be happy to talk you through some examples of how e-shots have been a really effective part of our clients marketing mix.
