Leadership as an Owner! Strike a balance! Understand how your employees tick!

Bridging the gap between Ownership & Management is an often tricky & sometimes a mishandled venture. Owners have a vested interest in their business success. Managers interests in the business success is paid for. So here is where the problem lies. As a business owner, you cannot expect everyone to care about your business as much as you do! FACT but hiring your management cannot only be based on their care for your business. For a Manager there also has to be incentives, rewards, a feeling of accomplishment, some autonomy & a huge level of skill. IN ANY INDUSTRY! It doesn't have to cost the Earth. Often simple recognition will do the trick! But as always, consistency is key!
