As an HR Professional you probably find that a client brings an issue to you, you identify a quick fix to stabilise matters and then a long term strategy and get the senior figures' agreement to introduce new systems for that long term strategy. Then you settle in for the drag of getting less senior figures on board and behind the new systems.

In any corporate setting with a large HR function, major HR changes are generally accompanied by at least information sessions, and in the better situations by training workshops to promote awareness and engagement. There's really no reason why this shouldn't be the case for freelance HR consultants too, as well as HR practitioners in smaller companies.

All it needs is contact with a training specialist who has the experience of working alongside HR, whose entire training ethos is geared to engagement and making those who attend training the drivers of ongoing improvement and change.
