Wednesday, 28th September 2016
from 09:15 to
15:45
September 28th 2016 at The Lowry Hotel, sees the launch of the latest initiative from the long-established Networking organisation The Business Network; a Personal Development Programme for 18-28-year-old young professionals.
Predominantly focusing on the ‘softer skills’, and with the seminar topics being delivered by industry experts, the programme will be made up of 6 bi-monthly events, each consisting of;
09.15 - Registration, Refreshments and Networking
10.00 - Seminar 1
12.00 - Lunch and Networking
13.15 - Seminar 2
15.15 - Refreshments and Networking
15.45 - Close
Topics to be covered include Leadership Skills, Speaking and Presentation Skills, Communication and Networking Skills, Resilience, Time Management, Personality Profiling and much more.
Employers are increasingly concerned at the poor ‘soft skills’ demonstrated by young job applicants in interview and presentations, and a better mastery of these skills, including networking, will give the millennial generation a head start in their careers.
The presenters for the two seminars on the 28th of September are excellent. Ben Morton has an extraordinary leadership story which he will share and Simone Andersen is an expert in networking on a global scale and is flying in from Denmark especially for our event. More details can be found on our website.
Please note that the age is indicative, NOT restrictive.
This really is an opportunity to learn corporate life skills from the very best in the business.
