You are invited to attend our Business Independence Networking event on 25th February 2010. Come and enjoy a relaxed evening where you can network with other professionals, share a drink and increase your business opportunities in the region
This month, Andrew Thorp will be talking about success in Self Employment - advising on strategies to help you speak confidently in public, gain contacts and raise your profile. Andrew draws upon his wide experiences in sport and business to highlight the importance of performance, skill development and psychology in the pursuit of success. These are examined in more detail in his book, The 7 Pillars of Sporting Success: and how to apply them in business
Alongside him, Jimmy Petruzzi will be signing copies of his latest book. Jimmy's background is in sports performance and communication. He studied Sports Science & Sports Psychology in Australia, America and the UK. As well as being a highly qualified sports coach in several sports disciplines he uses techniques learnt as an athlete and coach to gimprove the business performance of his clients.
