YOUGOV SURVEY PUBLISHED

I would also like to make you aware of the publication of a major study undertaken by leading market research company YouGov on behalf of Expense Reduction Analysts, which can now be downloaded via our website at www.erauk.net. Conducted amongst more than 1,300 board directors and senior management within British businesses, it reveals that:
• more than half of all respondents (56%) felt they could achieve cost savings of 6% or more in their businesses
• 34% said that their organisations had not put in place any cost reduction programmes during the last six months since the start of the recession
• nearly half of respondents (46%) had not conducted any contract renegotiations with suppliers since September 2008 when the steep decline in the economy started
