How does the testimonial rankings work?

Monthly ranked tables are created for different categories. Selected industries constantly change and appear on the testimonials homepage. Professionals build a total number of testimonials that are available for others to view in their profile and 'overall' index for each category.

How is Q&A processed?

Questions can be asked and responses provided in the 'Ask' section. Members are given one week to choose which response they favoured most and the chosen member receives a 'best answer' which is added to their total. Member's can also manage their Q&A through their profile and home page.

How does the Question & Expert system work?

The more 'best answers' an expert receives, the higher up the rankings they move. for each category. All best answers are saved and added to the member's overall number. These are available for others to view in their profile and 'overall' index for each category. Overall totals are featured next to the person's name in the ask listings and can be searched for in the 'Search' pages.

How can I submit attendance to an event on the site?

You can attend an event by clicking the 'Attend Event' link on a Event Detail page.

How can I join a club on the site?

You can join a club by clicking the 'Join Club' link on a Club Detail page.

How are Blogs rated?

Blogs are ranked by he number of people whom have stated they like/dont like a posted blog.

Where can I change my email address?

This can be changed by going to the My Account section, when logged in.

Where can I change my password?

Please refer to the My Account section also.

Which contact details can I display?

You can select which contact details to display in the Business Contact details section of the profile page, or alternativly, click here to enter business contact details now.

How can I upgrade to Business membership?

Please click on any Upgrade icon or refer to My Account.

How is my privacy protected?

Extensive privacy settings allow you to accurately define how to engage with the site. These can be configured through the privacy icon on your user home page or profile page. Our privacy policy can be viewed here.

How can I choose who can and cant view my profile?

This can be managed in the privacy section on your user home page. Members can accurately define which sets of audiences view their information.

How can I keep other members from viewing my contact list?

This can also be managed through the privacy section.

How can I report spam or unwanted messages?

Please report any issues to info@manchesterprofessionals.co.uk. There is also ongoing monitoring of the site by our technical department to spot any irregularities.

How can I manage notifications I receive from Manchester Professionals?

These can be accurately defined by logging onto the Notifications icon in the Privacy section.

Subscriptions can be cancelled by logging onto the My Account page and clicking Cancel Subscription. Otherwise subscriptions shall be renewed automatically for the period of time that was registered for.
